Day 4 is not a good day for Indian team. Michel Clarke has taken the resposibility and scored his eighth century. with Austalian batsmen contribution they have scored 577 runs in the 4th day.

Part time bowler Virender Sehwag picked 3 key wickets in the 3rd test 1st innings. He stopped them to do the centuries. End of third day Australia scored 338/4 and still they are tail by 275 runs.

The tourists, who trail the four-Test series 1-0 after a 320-run thrashing in Mohali, must avoid defeat here if they are to retain the Border-Gavaskar trophy, with one Test to go after this.

Gautham Gambhir and VVS Laxman hammered with double centuries to put India on top of the second day of third third test with Australia. India scored 613/7 before declaring the first Innings.

Opening batsman Gambhir struck a career-best 206 while the stylish Laxman remained unbeaten on 200 as the hosts posted a massive 613-7 before declaring their first innings midway through the final session.

Australia were cautious in their reply, reaching 50-0 at the close with Matthew Hayden on 16 and Simon Katich on 29.
